It appears Dr. Dre is expanding his résumé once again, starring in Apple's first original television series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the six-episode project is a dark semi-autobiographical drama with "no shortage of violence and sex," including an "extended orgy scene" which was shot earlier this week.

Co-starring Sam Rockwell and Mo McCrae, the half-hour series (which is definitely not a comedy)—titled Vital Signs—is being directed by veteran music video director Paul Hunter, with Dre executive producing.

Vital Signs will likely premiere on Apple Music, although it might also make its way to Apple TV.
