The upcoming fifth season finale of The Walking Dead has been extended to 90 minutes, marking the first time the zombie juggernaut has done so for an episode outside of DVD releases.

AMC on Wednesday confirmed the lengthier season finale is set to air on Sunday, March 29, at 9 p.m. EST.

A new installment of the Chris Hardwick-hosted postmortem show Talking Dead will follow the finale at 10:30 p.m.
