Kendrick Lamar confirmed via Twitter on Wednesday night that he will be performing the 56th annual GRAMMYs on Jan. 26. Meanwhile, Rolling Stone is now reporting that Daft Punk will also perform the awards ceremony.

According to GRAMMYs executive producer Ken Ehrlich, “conversations took place over a period of a couple of months, and finally they agreed to be a part of this year’s telecast.”

The Robots previously performed in 2008 with Kanye West, but this will mark their first live performance in support of the new album, Random Access Memories.

An official announcement with the first acts set to perform, presumably including Lamar, is expected any day now. As we previously reported, the rapper is up for Album of the Year, Best New Artist and Best Rap Album, among others.

The GRAMMYs will be held at 8 p.m. on Jan. 26, broadcasting on CBS from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

UPDATE (12.19.13, 10:25 a.m. EST): The Recording Academy has confirmed the following acts to perform, in addition to Lamar and Daft Punk: Imagine Dragons will perform with Lamar; P!nk with Nate Ruess; a "special GRAMMY moment" featuring Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Blake Shelton and Willie Nelson; other performers to be announced.
