Rising country star Sam Hunt helped Taylor Swift close out her second night in Chicago on Sunday, joining the 1989 singer on stage at Soldier Field for a live duet of his own hit "Take Your Time."

Swift has made it somewhat of a tour tradition to bring out other popular or emerging acts during her shows. She's already given her on stage stamp of approval this month to the likes of The Weeknd, Nick Jonas and Jason Derulo, while Lorde flew 19 hours to perform "Royals" with her friend and mentor in Washington, D.C.

The Swift-Hunt combo is a particularly interesting one, considering Swift's country roots before going full pop and Hunt's knack for blending pop and hip-hop culture and elements into his music.

Speaking with Variance recently, Hunt responded to the possibility that he might eventually pull a Swift: "If I ever did feel held back, I definitely would consider breaking out of those boundaries ... Who knows, maybe in 10 years, we’ll live in a world where it’s not country or rock or rap music—it’s just, music.”
