Ahead of his first U.S. headlining tour which starts this week, Icelandic singer-songwriter Ásgeir is sharing an amazing new remix of his popular single "King and Cross."

For the new version, London Grammar's Dominic "Dot" Major adds a layer of synths and simultaneously tweaks the song's original vocals.

In addition to his upcoming fall tour dates, Ásgeir will open for fellow rising star Hozier on the second leg of his own North American tour next February.

Ásgeir's debut album, In The Silence, which is influenced by the likes of Bon Iver and James Blake, is out now on Columbia.

Listen to the Dot Major remix of "King and Cross" below (via Noisey), followed by Ásgeir's updated tour schedule.
