Radiohead is officially back in the studio recording their ninth studio album.

Producer Nigel Godrich on Wedneday shared a photo (seen above) of frontman Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood adjusting modular synthesizers.

Greenwood has previously said in an interview the band had plans "to start making music soon. We’ve just got to get the inertia back.” But the photo, which might also give a clue regarding the album's sound, is the first concrete evidence of progress on their followup to 2011's The King of Limbs.
