Miley Cyrus is set to co-star in Woody Allen's upcoming Amazon series, the latter has revealed.

Deadline on Monday reported Allen will star in, write and direct the six-episode project, which co-stars Cyrus and Elaine May.

Little is known about the untitled series except that it takes place in the 1960s and will begin production in March.

The Allen project is the latest in a string of high profile efforts from Amazon Studios, following critical favorites such as Transparent and Mozart in the Jungle, both of which won the Golden Globe for Best Comedy Series in 2015 and 2016, respectively.

Allen previously seemed to regret the Amazon deal, saying in an interview last year that he was "a fish out of water" in television. "How to begin something and end it after a half an hour and then come back the next time. It’s not me."
