Rapper YG was shot early Friday morning at a Los Angeles recording studio, according to a report from TMZ.

The website claims the MC was shot in the hip three times and subsequently taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Karen Civil reported Friday afternoon that YG "is doing fine. Nothing life-threatening."

At press time, an arrest had not been made.
