Samantha Bee's Full Frontal has been picked up by TBS for a second season, which will begin next year.

The network confirmed Wednesday the comedian's critically acclaimed series will also be moving from its current Monday post to a prime Wednesday time slot at 10:30 p.m. EST.

“Of course we’re picking up the show,” said Thom Hinkle, senior vice president of original programming for TBS, in a statement released today. “In less than a year, Sam has become one of the most talked-about personalities in all of television and Full Frontal’s audience continues to grow.”

Bee has proven to be a pivotal voice during this year's bizarre election. New York Magazine proclaimed earlier this week she may very well become the "Jon Stewart of the Trump Years."
