Drake Shows Support for Rival Meek Mill During Australia Show

It appears even Drake has Meek Mill's back as the latter is fighting a multi-year prison sentence for violating his probation.

Drizzy was performing Sunday during the Melbourne, Australia stop of his tour when he noticed fans wearing "Free Meek Mill" shirts. "I see you got the ‘Free Meek Mill’ T-shirt," Drake said. "Free Meek Mill too, man, for real. You right."

As we previously mentioned, Meek Mill sentenced earlier this month to a minimum of two years for violating his probation stemming from legal troubles going back to a 2008 drug and weapons conviction. He is currently awaiting a new bail hearing.

Drake and Meek Mill have been feuding for much of the past two years after the latter accused the former of enlisting a ghostwriter for their 2015 collaboration "R.I.C.O." They subsequently engaged in a series of diss tracks aimed at each other.

While Drake's support might come as a bit of a surprise, he's hardly the only one calling for justice. The likes of Jay-Z, Kevin Hart, Rick Ross and Colin Kaepernick have all been in Meek Mill's corner in the days since the controversial ruling.
