Saturday Night Live opened this week's Emily Blunt-hosted episode with the predictable spoof of the second and "worst ever" presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

The heightened version of the matchup parodied Clinton's inability to connect with voters, especially as compared to First Lady Michelle Obama, while also mocking Trump's strange behavior, among many other things.

Since the segment aired, Trump on Sunday morning took a break from his personal and political meltdown to jump on his Twitter megaphone and declare the SNL sketch was a "hit job," calling on NBC to "retire the boring and unfunny show," which he hosted last November during his wild rise to the top of the Republican primaries.
