War has arrived in the explosive new trailer for Game of Thrones' upcoming seventh season, released Wednesday by HBO.

“For centuries our families fought together against their common enemy," Kit Harington's Jon Snow says in the clip. "Despite their differences—together. We need to do the same if we’re going to survive because the enemy is real. It’s always been real.”

The new season premieres July 16 on HBO.
