As Florence Welch (aka Florence + the Machine) is expected to claim her first No. 1 album in the States next week, she has extended her upcoming tour schedule with a handful of fall shows.

The October stops are in addition to a number of festival and international dates.

Welch's new album, How Big How Blue How Beautiful, released this week and is on track to debut at No. 1 on next week's U.S. charts, with as many as 130,000 units moved according to industry insiders.
