Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino) emerged Monday night on Twitter after a months-long absence, taking part in an impromptu Q&A with a few fans.

The actor-rapper revealed that his long-discussed FX comedy, tentatively titled Atlanta, will finally shoot its pilot over the summer. "The scripts are making me laugh," he declared in the series of tweets which have since been deleted.

While Glover didn't directly respond to inquiries about the future of his rap career, he offered assurance in that he hopes to work with Atlanta hip-hop trio Migos. "I texted their manager an hour ago," he said. "Waiting to hear back."

Glover has left fans to speculate about his next moves after he said in February during a Today show interview that he felt the Childish Gambino era of his career "should come to a close." He did, however, note he intends to always make music in some capacity.
