A day after Rolling Stone published a portion of his new interview, Drake is taking issue with the magazine's handling of his statements—or lack thereof.

While he makes no mention of his comments about Macklemore, which first sparked online, Drake denied other quotables that later surfaced from the interview, which hits newsstands on Friday.

"I never commented on Yeezus for my interview portion of Rolling Stone," he tweeted Thursday morning, also revealing that he had previously been offered the cover but "they also took my cover from me last minute."

The late Philip Seymour Hoffman now appears on the cover, to which Drizzy says, "all respect due."

The quotes in question about Kanye West's latest album (via Word on Road): "There were some real questionable bars on there. Like that ‘Swaghili’ line? Come on, man. Fabolous wouldn’t say some shit like that ... Kanye and me are friends; we’re plotting on getting some work done together. Kanye’s the reason I’m here. I love everything about that guy."

"I'm done doing interviews for magazines," Drake declared. "I just want to give my music to the people. That's the only way my message gets across accurately."
