California singer Madeline Kenney has delivered quite a treat with her new song "Big One," which absolutely lives up to its name.

The breezy new track is from the Oakland artist's upcoming debut album, Night Night At The First Landing, which was produced by Toro Y Moi and is out Sept. 1 via Company Records.

"I kind of wish I could write about love the way that everybody else seems to be able to," Kenney said regarding the new track. "But when it comes down to it, I can't get serious without breaking the tension or setting the stage with some big, dumb, mildly inappropriate joke. I like to laugh at everything, but it doesn't mean I'm not sincere."
