CHVRCHES have confirmed that after a year-plus of touring, the trio is back to work on their followup to 2013's stellar The Bones of What You Believe.

"Album two, day one in the studio," they tweeted Friday alongside a photo of themselves in said studio.

"[The new album] will just be 100 percent us again," Martin “Dok” Doherty told Variance last year, with Lauren Mayberry adding that it's too early to know what the album will sound like: "If you set your sights on something that’s further ahead than that, then it’s probably a mistake."
