Years & Years Named BBC's Sound of 2015 Winner

British trio Olly Alexander (vocalist), Mikey Goldsworthy (bassist) and Emre Turkmen (keys)—collectively known as Years & Years—have won the BBC's annual Sound of 2015 poll.

Following in the footsteps of previous winners Sam Smith, Adele, HAIM and Ellie Goulding, the trio has now signed to Interscope Records and will release a new EP on Feb. 3.

"Waiting for Years and Years to blow up," Goulding tweeted on Thursday ahead of the announcement. "Love you guys."

As we mentioned before, their tour continues to grow and a rep for the band confirms they will perform SXSW this year (a formal list of additions to the Austin festival is expected next week).

Years & Years' newly released single "King" can be heard here.
