J. Cole to Release New Album, '2014 Forest Hills Drive,' on Dec. 9

J. Cole has made it official. His new album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, will arrive on Dec. 9 via Roc Nation/Columbia.

As we previously reported, a pre-order page on Amazon leaked Sunday morning but has since been followed by an official pre-order site on iTunes.

The album will consist of 13 tracks, of which the titles have yet to be revealed.

Of the album, the rapper says: "It's very special to me." He also confirmed he's "releasing no singles, just the album. See you in 3 weeks."

"I've gotten to this point in my career and realized that, yeah I have a lot more dreams and I want to go further," he explains in a newly released mini-doc for the album. "But at the same time, I don't want it if it's at the expense of my happiness. I don't want it if it's at the expense of my sanity or if I have to become someone who's so out of touch with what's real ... there's a lot of people in Hollywood who have been there a long time and they've forgotten about their small-town lives because they like this life better. But this shit ain't real."
