Charli XCX's forthcoming album, Sucker, is being delayed until December.
The British songstress revealed Monday on Twitter and in a subsequent press release the long-awaited LP will arrive stateside on Dec. 16 instead of its original Oct. 21 date.
"It's all COOL nothing's WRONG the albums DONE but it's just no one really knew 'boom clap' would do as well as it's doing," she said on Twitter, explaining that label Neon Gold/Atlantic wants to give the album proper promotion.
Following its U.S. release, Sucker will make its way to the U.K. and Europe on Jan. 26.
