His publicist provided the following statement confirming the change: "Happy to pass along that Tracy has been upgraded to fair condition, which is a great improvement. His personality is certainly starting to come back as well."

The news comes after Morgan was involved in a multi-vehicle accident on June 7, leaving him with several serious injuries. As Variety points out, this is the first update on the actor-comedian's condition since last Thursday, when doctors noted that he was already improving.
