For fans who have been holding out for a Genesis reunion, the band is providing some new glimmers of hope.

According to genesis-news.com, the classic lineup of Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford and Steve Hackett have reunited (promo photo seen above) for the first time since 1975 for a forthcoming BBC documentary titled Together and Apart.

The news comes as both Gabriel and Collins have in the past year fueled speculation of some kind of reunion. And it's worth noting that the band's The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway album—of which the aforementioned group was a part of—will reach its 40-year anniversary in November.

As Collins himself proved just last month, he's certainly open to performing live again.
