The 17-year-old singer pointed out on Twitter that both photos were from the same event, however the first was "edited so my skin is perfect" while the other photo was left a few noticeable blemishes. And Lorde made it clear she preferred the latter, proudly declaring that "flaws are OK."

Despite her young age and newfound celebrity status, the Pure Heroine songstress hasn't embraced Hollywood's Photoshop definition of beauty. Last month, she even shared a photo of herself on Instagram still wearing acne cream—in Paris, nonetheless.
