For fans who somehow believe Michael Jackson's best music is yet to come, Epic Records—in conjunction with Jackson's estate—will release XSCAPE on May 13.

In a press release, Epic revealed the posthumous album will feature eight new songs produced by Timbaland in addition to Rodney Jerkins, Stargate, Jerome “Jroc” Harmon and John McClain, all aiming to "add a fresh, contemporary sound that retains Jackson’s essence and integrity." Epic CEO L.A. Reid referred to the process as “contemporizing.”

A deluxe version of the album will include the original sourced Jackson recordings in their original form. Pre-orders begin Tuesday.
