Kanye West is currently under investigation for allegedly assaulting an 18-year-old man on Monday afternoon.

The rapper reportedly attacked the man at a chiropractor's office in Beverly Hills, where fiancée Kim Kardashian had an appointment.

Contrary to previous reports earlier in the afternoon, E! cites sources as saying that Kardashian was running late to the appointment, while her husband-to-be had already arrived. En route to the office, she witnessed a man (the alleged victim) hurling racial slurs at paparazzi and subsequently verbally assaulting her.

According to TMZ, when Kardashian advised him not to use that language, he fired back, "Fuck you, bitch," then calling her a "n----- lover." When West called her to see where she was, he reportedly heard her crying with the man's voice in the background. Ye immediately ran out to find Kardashian and charged at the victim, who continued with his insults.

Witnesses and the victim identified West to police. The Yeezus MC is now being investigated for misdemeanor battery charges, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
