Reports surfaced late Tuesday night about the possibility of new material from Brooklyn duo Sleigh Bells.

Revolt claimed having "exclusive" details from a "source close to the band" that suggesting a new single and album announcement are due on Sept. 3. However, this actually follows an earlier report/rumor from Friday (Aug. 23) that new material from the band would arrive next month.

According to the Revolt, fans will be able to hear a new single at the yet-to-be-built website, www.bitterrivals.us, beginning on Tuesday.

Additionally, a track titled from Sleigh Bells titled "Bitter Rivals" is currently showing as due to arrive the week of Sept. 2 for radio airplay on FMQB, suggesting this won't likely turn out to be another false-alarm "JAY Z secret show."

At press time, there had been no official confirmation from the band. Currently, their Facebook Page's last update is from May 28.
