Pusha T Says Forthcoming Album Best-Produced of 2013, Has Beat from Joaquin Phoenix

Earlier this summer, Pusha T's forthcoming debut album, My Name is My Name, was delayed from its original July 16 release date. But according to the rapper, the wait will be worth it.

In a new interview with Vibe, Pusha said that part of the delay was spurred by new beats he received from G.O.O.D. Music head Kanye West, which prompted him to add to the record. One of the beats was from actor (and occasional "rapper") Joaquin Phoenix.

Pusha additionally said he plans for the Phoenix-infused cut to be the opening track of his revised record, of which he claimed: "There is no production—in the world!—that is better than this album."

There is not yet an official new release date for My Name is My Name.
