Darren Star, the man behind Sex and the City's successful launch on HBO (based on the books by Candace Bushnell) in 1998, is at it again. The producer-director is currently working on a new television series based on The Honest Toddler, the recently released book by Bunmi Laditan, which is based on the latter's hugely popular Twitter feed. Star will develop and executive produce the adaptation with Laditan and producers Clark Peterson and Dennis Erdman.

According to Deadline, the show is described as “a Modern Family from a toddler’s point of view." It is yet unknown whether the show would aim for broadcast or cable TV.
