Fans of Fox's long-running sketch comedy series MADtv have reason to celebrate, as many of the show's most familiar cast members are reuniting next month for a 20th anniversary special.
Scheduled for Jan. 12 on The CW (not Fox), at least 19 of the show's former players will take part in what the network calls a "glamorous award ceremony to honor the series," noting in a press release that "in classic MADtv fashion, nothing goes as planned.”
Those returning for the special include Ike Barinholtz, Alex Borstein, Mo Collins, Crista Flanagan, Anjelah Johnson, Nicole Randall Johnson, Keegan-Michael Key, Phil LaMarr, Artie Lange, Bobby Lee, Michael McDonald, Arden Myrin, Nicole Parker, Eric Price, Will Sasso, Aries Spears, Nicole Sullivan, Stephanie Weir and Debra Wilson.
The full details of the program were not immediately known, but multiple cast members are expected to reprise some of their most popular characters.
