Gorillaz Announce First North American Tour in Seven Years

Just days before releasing new album Humanz, Gorillaz on Monday announced a new North American tour, their first in seven years.

The trek includes headlining appearances at New York's Meadows Music & Arts Festival and Las Vegas’ Life is Beautiful Festival, both of which have yet to announce their full lineup.

Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett's animated band confirmed in a press release they will also be joined on stage "by a stellar lineup of featured artists" from the album, including likely appearances from Jehnny Beth of Savages, Danny Brown, Benjamin Clementine, De La Soul, D.R.A.M., Grace Jones, Zebra Katz, Kelela, Mavis Staples, Vince Staples, Popcaan, Pusha T and more.

Tickets go on sale this Friday on the Gorillaz website and Humanz is out April 28.
