Justin Timberlake has made it official. His new album is coming next month.

The singer, who is scheduled to headline at the upcoming Super Bowl LII halftime show, confirmed Tuesday his new full-length, Man of the Woods, will be released on Feb. 2, just two days before he takes the stage at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

The first single, which he previewed in a new teaser video released today, is coming this Friday (Jan. 5), arriving promptly at midnight. We first reported last week Timberlake would likely be releasing the first song this week.

His last album was 2013's The 20/20 Experience, but Timberlake said in the aforementioned video this new one is more "personal" than his previous material, explaining Man of the Woods is inspired by his family and his roots. As we previously mentioned, Pharrell—who worked on the upcoming record—said JT would demonstrate more "vulnerability" on his next album.

Last month, Timberlake ignited speculation when it was reported he had applied to trademark the phrases "Man of the Woods" and "Fresh Leaves." Now we know why.
