The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards turned out to be a big night for several artists, most of whom were women.

After a six-week delay due to the winter spike in Coronavirus cases in Los Angeles, Music's Biggest Night finally arrived, albeit in a different format than previous years. Much of the traditional structure is still in place, with the Premiere Ceremony (where the bulk of awards are announced) set for 3 p.m. EST and the live broadcast of the 2021 Grammys will start at 8 p.m. EST on CBS, with host Trevor Noah.

As of this afternoon, a number of early winners have already been announced. Among them are Beyoncé's Best Music Video win for "Brown Skin Girl"; Kanye West's triumph in an unusual category: Best Contemporary Christian Album, for Jesus Is King; KAYTRANADA has also nabbed both major Dance categories for Best Dance/Electronic Album and Best Dance Recording; Billie Eilish has won Best Song Written for Visual Media for her James Bond theme "No Time to Die"; Tiffany Haddish's Black Mitzvah has won Best Comedy Album; and Fiona Apple's Fetch the Bolt Cutters has won Best Alternative Album.

Also joining the earlier winners is John Legend, who has won Best R&B Album for Bigger Love; Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande's collaboration "Rain on Me" has won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance; Megan Thee Stallion's "Savage," featuring Beyoncé, has won Best Rap Performance; Nas has won his first Grammy for Best Rap Album for King's Disease; Fiona Apple has also swung back around and won Best Rock Performance for "Shameika"; and Brittany Howard's "Stay High" has been award Best Rock Song.

During the primetime show, a slew of performers rotated throughout a handful of live stages at the Los Angeles Convention Center, located near the Staples Center, where the live telecast is traditionally held.

In the primetime broadcast, Beyoncé continued nabbing awards, taking four total, including Best Rap Song alongside Megan Thee Stallion for "Savage," then Best R&B Performance for "Black Parade," the latter of which tipped her into Grammy history, as she became the female artist with the most Grammy wins, with a total of 28.

Megan's night was also a big one, as she took home the first televised award for Best New Artist, before returning for the aforementioned Best Rap Song win. Overall, the awards seemed to be nicely divided, as Taylor Swift took home the big win for Album of the Year for folklore and Billie Eilish reigned again in the Record of the Year category with "Everything I Wanted," as the Recording Academy again seemed to hype Record (a single track) over Album of the Year, designated it as the last award of the night.

Elsewhere in the evening, Dua Lipa proved to be a true Grammy favorite with her Best Pop Vocal Album for Future Nostalgia, while Harry Styles was a surprise winner for Best Pop Solo Performance with "Watermelon Sugar" and Miranda Lambert conquered an almost all-female Best Country Album category with Wildcard (quarter Little Big Town's two male members Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook were the only exceptions to an otherwise woman-led field).
