It's a wrap for the 49th annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival

Held April 27-29 and May 3-6 at the Fair Grounds Race Course in New Orleans, this year's two-weekend event featured an impressive mix of iconic acts and current players in alternative, country, hip-hop and R&B. Among the performers were Aerosmith, Beck, David Byrne, Jack White, Anita Baker, Bonnie Raitt, Lionel Richie, Common, Cage the Elephant, Sheryl Crow, Smokey Robinson, Khalid, Jason Isbell, The Revivalists, Lyle Lovett, Juanes, Buddy Guy, Aaron Nevile, Jon Batiste with the Dap-Kings and more.

Fortunately for festival organizers and fans alike, the weather mostly cooperated this year, unlike in 2016 and 2017, when rain forced delays and cancellations. This year, as many as 450,000 attendees made their way to Jazz Fest.
