Iceland's Sigur Rós on Tuesday revealed a handful of new tour dates for 2016, while also ensuring fans new music is on the way.

Mostly consisting of festival stops in countries such as Norway, Denmark and Russia, the band said the performances next summer are "in the spirit of adventure."

The band went on to tease new material: "All we can say right now is it’s going to be different, with new unreleased songs, a new show and maybe some other *new* things. Beyond that, we can only ask you to trust us on this one.”
