Nicki Minaj made quite the statement at Monday night's Met Gala in New York City.

In addition to her eye-catching Oscar de la Renta gown, the rapper revealed her long-awaited album is titled Queen and it's coming on June 15.

Last month, Minaj released two new songs "Barbie Tingz" and "Chun-Li," and she's scheduled as the musical performer for the season finale of NBC's Saturday Night Live on May 19, all leading to speculation about the new record, which hadn't been confirmed until tonight.

"This is the best album that I've ever created," Minaj told Zane Lowe in a Beats 1 radio interview last month following the new music's release.

She had previously suggested big plans for the new album, the followup to her 2014 set The Pinkprint, having suggested she feels like she needs to "release a classic." She has also said the new LP is about "everything in my life coming full circle."

Queen has been one of Variance's 45 Albums to Watch for in 2018.
