Following the October release of his new single "Simple Man," rising British artist Samson Ashe has now shared a breathtaking orchestral rework of the track.

The stripped back, emotional new version is premiering today on Variance, and it somehow breaths new life into the song, which was already a stirring cut of self-reflection inspired by a post-breakup mindset.

"I was at war with myself asking who I was after a relationship," says Ashe of the song. "I felt like I had lost myself and I had to drown out the villain that often lives between my mind and listen to the dormant hero that pumps in my chest. 'Simple Man' is a spotlight to part of these conversations."
