Justin Bieber is offering fans a different tune today in the form of "Lonely," his collaboration with producer Benny Blanco, which he had teased earlier this week.

The song is much more confessional and full of emotion than "Holy," his recent song with Chance the Rapper. This time, an accompanying video portrays the song's lyrics with a younger version of himself waiting anxiously backstage before being directed to take the stage, solo, before an empty theater.

The Jake Schreier-directed visuals and the song itself allow Bieber to reflect on his years growing up in the public eye, his mistakes, his struggles and his feelings of tremendous loneliness.
