Miley Cyrus won the night at the MTV European Music Awards, performing "We Can't Stop" and "Wrecking Ball" during the show.
She opened the night with "We Can't Stop," in which she groped a little person's breasts. She also returned later in the show to offer a tearful rendition of "Wrecking Ball."
At the end of the night, Cyrus won the big Video of the Year award. Accepting her trophy from Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy, the singer said, “I couldn’t fit this award in my bag, but I did find this,” she announced as she pulled out a joint from her Chanel purse, proceeding to light it as she mumbled the rest of her speech: “So thank you guys very much. Goodnight everybody. Thank you.”
