In July, The War On Drugs returned with new music, their first in four years. Now, they're sharing oh so much more.
On Wednesday, the band shared a new song called "I Don’t Live Here Anymore," which is the title track of their upcoming album, out Oct. 29 on Atlantic Records. The song is magic. It's glorious. If you were just casually excited about the idea of a new album from The War On Drugs, this is sure to light a fire inside you. And Lucius contributed the backing vocals. And there's a new video. Come on! You deserve this.
“I was lying in my bed, a creature void of form/Been so afraid of everything, I need a chance to be reborn,” sings frontman Adam Granduciel, with lyrics which are both grand and almost spiritual, yet incredibly relatable and timely as so many of us try to navigate a new world in the midst of complicated times.
