Adele in 'Easy On Me' video

It's here! As promised, Adele has released her new single "Easy On Me," which is out now.

The massive, long-awaited new track was expected to arrive at midnight, but thankfully, Adele is a Brit, so she's going on London time. And as we likely already knew, this is a gut-wrenching offering, certainly reflective of the singer's own personal life and struggles, but there's no doubt the emotion is sure to resonate with millions of fans following the uncertainty, loss and trauma of the last two years.

"Easy" is accompanied by a stirring set of visuals, shot last month in Quebec and directed by Xavier Dolan. Not at all coincidentally, the clip was filmed in the very same house Adele and Dolan chose to film the video for "Hello," the lead single off Adele's previous album 25.

This is the first preview of the powerhouse star's much-anticipated album 30, which will finally be released on Nov. 19 via Columbia Records, arriving just a day shy of six years since 25's release in 2015. The new album is now available for pre-order, as of this writing.

In a recent interview, Adele said 30 is somewhat of a letter to her son, trying to explain her divorce to him for when he's older. "I wanted to explain to him through this record, when he’s in his twenties or thirties, who I am and why I voluntarily chose to dismantle his entire life in the pursuit of my own happiness," she said.

Adding of her divorce from charity CEO Simon Konecki: "Neither of us did anything wrong. Neither of us hurt each other or anything like that. It was just: I want my son to see me really love, and be loved. It’s really important to me."
