Muse is back.

The band on Thursday released a new single called "Won't Stand Down," their first in four years. It's accompanied by a video directed by Jared Hogan, shot in Kyiv, Ukraine.

"'Won’t Stand Down' is a song about standing your ground against bullies," says frontman Matt Bellamy. "Whether that be on the playground, at work or anywhere. Protecting yourself from coercion and sociopathic manipulation and to face adversity with strength, confidence and aggression.”

While the band didn't explicitly say a new album is coming, they said in a note on social media announcing the song's release, "We're excited to share what we've been working on with you."
