Rising artist Porsh Bet$ is preparing to release his Things in the Way EP next month, and today, he has shared the title track.

It's an addictive, velvety smooth cut which laments the difficulties of being in a long-distance relationship and trying to make it work when you're yearning to be with someone far away. It's also accompanied by a video directed by Isaiah Suko.

"I wrote this when I first started seeing my girlfriend and I was living in L.A. and she was on the East Coast," says Porsh. "When I came to the studio that day to work with M-Phazes, I was frustrated because it felt like we were missing each other and led to us starting to close off and push away from one another. I just started listing off everything that was seemingly stopping us from being together. My complaints about our circumstances eventually became the hook of the song.”

The full EP is out on Feb. 17 but the new video can be seen now.
