After kicking off a new era of music back in August, Aaron Taos is capping the year with a flurry of new music in the form of his new mr. butterfly EP.

The new, seven-song project includes the single "4shots," which arrived over the summer, as well as the standout title track, which is accompanied by a video directed by Trent Barboza. The video follows the arch of the EP itself, a forward-looking selection of music after the singer's recent experience with grief.

“mr. butterfly is an EP about keeping things light," explains Taos. "When my dad passed away in 2021, I needed to get away. After the months of sadness, I booked a one-way ticket to Europe with no idea when I’d come back. I road-tripped through the Balkans with my best friends, found love in Amsterdam, and ate myself silly in Italy. I re-discovered an adventurous spirit and a lust for life."

He adds: "I'm feeling grateful. I hope you listen and enjoy yourself as much as I did making them 🦋🦋🦋"
