Channel Tres, SG Lewis & Charlotte Day Wilson

With just weeks to go before his new album releases, SG Lewis has shared another new track, "Fever Dreamer."

This one is a collaboration with celebrated singer-songwriter Charlotte Day Wilson and his previous collaborator Channel Tres. It's the latest off Lewis' upcoming sophomore album AudioLust & HigherLove, which will be released on Jan. 27 via Astralwerks. The album includes the previously released single "Call On Me," featuring Tove Lo, as well as Ty Dolla $ign and Lucky Daye collaboration "Vibe Like This," which was Variance's Big Obsession pick when it released.

Lewis calls "Fever Dreamer" a song "about all-consuming admiration for someone," noting: “I’ve been a fan of Charlotte’s music for ages now, and have wanted to work on something forever. We met up at my studio in L.A., and ‘Fever Dreamer’ was the first idea we started work on. Channel and I work out of the same studios in L.A. a lot, and he was working in the room above around the time of the Charlotte session. One day he popped his head into the studio, heard the demo of ‘Fever Dreamer,’ and immediately started working on the missing second verse.”

The new song comes ahead of Lewis' performance next Wednesday (Jan. 18) on NBC's Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon., and on Tuesday, he was confirmed as part of the long-awaited Coachella 2023 lineup. It's a busy month for Lewis.
