Following the March release of his new album Fantasy, Anthony Gonzalez (aka M83) has spent much of the spring touring in support of the new record.

Variance was on hand for the May 9 show at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom, which happened to be one of the first of the lengthy trek to sell out. And while the tour did start with a few hiccups thanks to the abruptly canceled Austin show, thankfully, Vancouver's performance was all magic, showcasing the full breadth of the expansive, theatrical live shows fans have come to appreciate from M83.

After a North American tour-closer in Guadalajara, Mexico, M83 is jumping across the pond next month for a stretch of European dates which will run into the summer, including a number of festival shows in France, Finland, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, among others.
