Angus Stone (aka Dope Lemon) is starting the weekend and the summer with new music. Today, the singer (who is one half of the duo Angus & Julia Stone with his sister) has shared his own new song "Kimosabè."

It's the sweltering title track off Stone's upcoming new Dope Lemon album, which is out Sept. 1 via BMG. It's accompanied by a video, which is out today, all arriving as Dope Lemon is eyeing a busy year ahead, with festival performances at Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Austin City Limits and more.

The new song was partly inspired by the Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly comedy Step Brothers, and fans may recognize the track is built around an audio sample from the 2008 film.
