Johnny Yukon is here again for the weekend, dropping his latest single "Whispers" on Friday.

The new track is out now on Atlantic Records, and it follows his recent tracks "Do You Feel It?," "Gloria!" and "Comet," which he released earlier this year. "The story continues," Yukon said on Instagram earlier this week ahead of the song's release, teasing an accompanying visual directed by Griffin Olis.

“I really feel like I’m being myself in this music,” says  Yukon. “I’m trying to make songs that either brighten your day or help you through something. Maybe, it will get your morning started right or keep your mental health okay. I love sad songs, but I don’t take myself too seriously. At the moment, I just want to encourage people to dance and have fun.”

The new song's arrival comes just days ahead of Yukon's show on July 9 for Sunday Sounds in Los Angeles, his first live performance in five years.
