A day following 50 Cent's premiere of his new track "My Life" on NBC's The Voice with coach Adam Levine, the video has now debuted. The clip, as we previously reported, is directed by Rich Lee and was shot in Detroit. While fellow rapper Eminem was absent for Monday's Voice performance, he is featured on the track as well as the video.
The first single from Local Natives upcoming sophomore effort Hummingbird now has a video. In the new visuals for "Breakers," an eclectic set of images come together to form a very interesting clip directed by Jaffe Zinn and the band themselves.
Ahead of their seventh album Heartthrob, sister duo Tegan and Sara appeared Tuesday night on the Late Show with David Letterman to perform their latest single "Closer." The twins have also revealed the tracklist for Heartthrob, as well as the album artwork. The album releases Jan. 29 via Sire.
While the video for "Figure 8" was in the works for some time, given Ellie Goulding's recent breakup with EDM star Skrillex, it's interesting to see the young British singer struggling with the loss of a recent lover in the new visuals. In the clip, she copes with the split by holding on to her former beau's belongings, laying in bed all day and recalling memories of the relationship.
In the latest video from Florence and the Machine, one of the strongest tracks off the year-old Ceremonials album is on display with "Lover to Lover." Ms. Welch is featured in the piece alongside Australian actor Ben Mendelsohn as a troubled duo that can't seem to work things out. In a dramatic finish that includes massive flames and a dive into the sea, it's certainly one of the best sets of visuals from this act.
Fresh off a tour with NEEDTOBREATHE and Good Old War, indie rocker Matthew Mayfield debuted on Monday morning a new video showcasing the track "Take What I Can Get" off his newest album A Banquet for Ghosts, which released earlier this year. The video itself, directed by Kinora Films, is an emotional visual journey that sees Mayfield playing his guitar in a makeshift house surrounded by painful memories that start to go up in flames one by one.
To mark the end of the band's U.K. tour, The Killers covered U2's "With or Without You" in London Saturday night. The stripped down performance can be seen below via fan footage. The Brandon Flowers-fronted band is currently on tour for the next few months, joined by sister duo Tegan and Sara for many of their upcoming U.S. dates.
In a new webisode, rising rap star and G.O.O.D. Music artist Big Sean has opened up about his fears of not achieving the life he's dreamed about. "Nothing good ever comes out of being afraid of a situation," he admitted.
Beach House’s new video definitely lives up to its name. The visuals for “Wild,” off their latest set Bloom, tell the story of an unhappy relationship, romantic violence and obsession. While the story is not the easiest to follow, with isolated moments of fury chopped up into small bits, one gets a vague id ea of a painful unraveling. It's certainly an intense piece of work, which can be seen below.
Mumford and Sons' performance of "I Will Wait" aired Tuesday night on the Late Show with David Letterman. The clip was actually pre-recorded during the band's recent hour-long set earlier this year for the late night host. The track, of course, is off their latest release Babel. In the video seen below, Letterman jokes about introducing the band for their song when the stage is actually clear.
Metric has premiered the visuals for their latest single "Breathing Underwater." The video is accompanied by a SoundCloud set featuring three versions of the song: the original album version of the song, the Synthetica Reflections version and an acoustic version.
Atlas Genius have premiered the official video for their hit single "Trojans." The video was directed by Claire Marie Vogel and produced by Dave Szamet, and it follows the release of a remix by Goldroom for their song "Back Seat." That track is available for sharing on
