Vic Mensa shared his song "No Teardrops" earlier this month, and now he's released his new mixtape V TAPE.

While "No Teardrops" was released as part of Roc Nation's upcoming compilation project Reprise, this new music is all Mensa's own, a very personal project finding him getting back to his rap roots and confronting some of his battles such as with depression.

It features guest appearances from the likes of SAINt JHN, BJ the Chicago Kid, Peter Cottontale, Eryn Allen Kane and Snoh Aalegra.

V TAPE is accompanied by a video for the song "MACHIAVELLI," the opening track off the tape. It's said to be a first vignette of a larger forthcoming visual project which provides and intimate and evocative portrait of the south side of Chicago.
