Big Sean has finally made it official.

His new album Detroit 2 is coming next month. He confirmed Monday the long-awaited record, his sequel to 2012's Detroit, is out Sept. 4, and now he has shared a new song called "Deep Reverence," which features vocal contributions from the late Nipsey Hussle.

On the newly released track, Sean also acknowledges making peace with Kendrick Lamar following Nipsey Hussle's death. "There wasn't even no real issues there to begin with / Lack of communication and wrong information from people / Fueled by the ego it’s like mixing flames with diesel," he says on the song.

While Detroit 2 was first teased in March, Big Sean then went somewhat quiet without offering a release date. This will be his first full-length since I Decided., which arrived in 2017.
